
On the occasion of the 29th ‘World Reading Day’, Yantai Research Institute held its third reading activity of ‘Reading Delightfully in a Sea of Classics’. College directors, mentors of cooperative enterprises, enthusiastic professors and students took part in this event.

The college director initiated the event mentioning ‘the reading sharing experience in reading is of great significance’ in his speech, encouraging professors and students to spend more time in reading outstanding books to make contribute to national development.

Participating professors and representatives shared their experiences on maintaining reading habits, believing that reading makes people feel free and peaceful, and encouraged everyone to keep up reading habits for life and enjoy the pleasure they bring about. At the same time, representative expressed that more similar reading-and-sharing activities could be held in the future to deepen exchange and interaction among universities and enterprises. Professors at site emphasized that they pay more attention to cultivation in humanistic quality while studying natural sciences, and that they acquire knowledge to raise their self-confidence through reading habits.

‘Reading Stars’ were awarded after the sharing stage, in praise of those with reading enthusiasm and studying diligence.
