Aiming at discipline construction and development, Yantai Research Institute stays true to talent-driven and ‘talent as priority’ concept in terms of overall development method, putting innovation-related requirements from diverse sectors and enterprises into consideration. Ushering in wisdom introduction mode with professors and faculty groups as its core, Yantai Research Institute has established a high-level faculty composed of full-time teachers as mainstay, and flexibly introduced talents as well. By pooling strengths from talents of various ages, we have established a multi-level and multi-layered R&D scientific and technological innovation team, continuously promoted interdisciplinarity and multi-discipline integration, and realized interdisciplinary and cross-team scientific research and cultivation of high-end talents.

We have a talent pool comprised of 81 full-time and 12 flexibly introduced professors, 414 corporate mentors and 140 part-time professors. To better serve for four major disciplines of civil and hydraulic engineering, electronic information, material and chemistry, energy and power, we have established 10 large-scale innovation teams.
