To celebrate the 70th anniversary of HEU, Yantai Research Institute has launched a series of cultural activities and entertainments. Students have relished campus culture, the vibe of anniversary, and cultivated patriotism and nationalism of the new era during the events.

The students visited the University Exhibition Hall and the Marine Culture Center in campus respectively, and learned the progress of the four major laboratories including the exhibition room for physical teaching and the Analyzing and Testing Center. Directors in charge of the laboratories are invited to deliver lectures pertaining the frontier of scientific research and modes of experimental operation in marine industry.

At literary and art festival, participants prepared a variety of programs comprised of instrumental music, vocal music, and dances. Though melodious singing and elegant dances, performers chanted grand aspirations and prayed for a bright future for HEU, offering fervent wishes for the 70th anniversary.

These activities has improved students' capability of professional practice, and consolidated their determination of self-reliance, hard work, perseverance and breaking hardships in scientific research, thus boosting their new-era spirit to forge ahead and take responsibilities for the new journey. The positive, conducive campus atmosphere full of amity and harmony is nothing short of the most sincere blessings for the 70th anniversary of HEU.
