In the recently concluded 19th "Challenge Cup" competition, our college achieved a milestone by having two entries advance to the final review round of the main category. After intense competition, these projects secured first prizes in the Heilongjiang and Shandong provincial competitions respectively—marking our college's inaugural breakthrough in this prestigious event.
The two award-winning projects focused on distinct yet critical domains: one developing an intelligent engine room management system for vessels, and another addressing sustainable energy supply for offshore platforms and remote island installations. Both provided innovative solutions targeting industry pain points, thereby contributing to the healthy and sustainable development of their respective sectors.
This accomplishment represents not only our college's first national award in the "Challenge Cup" competition, but also demonstrates our commitment to translating cutting-edge research in vessel intelligence and marine development into practical applications. It further reflects our ongoing efforts to accelerate the industrialization of green ship technologies through academic competitions.
